Confluence
Originally, the name of the website was supposed to indicate that I would write, or at least work a tiny amount, at least once every week (so working on every 52 weeks of the year). Now I am almost working on this website daily.
Well at least it doesn't entail writing about it all the time. But so far the motivating part of this whole project seems to be working.
I've been setting goals for the website (it will be great, I assure you), what you see right now (as I'm writing and posting this), is just static HTML files being loaded from a GitHub project through Amplify. The goal is to have it dynamically generated from DynamoDB documents.
For the goals I've wrote up a smallish epic in Jira, for now it has 1 user story, and 2 tasks. So I've picked up the story that is related to the storage of the articles in AWS. No access will be made so far.
After the story is done, I am going to work on the design of the site. This is alright for now, but I want to have a bit more comprehensive design around it. And a nice favicon. I might have to ask a few people and call in some favours.
Also, Confluence and Jira seem to be working out nice for now, I can always look at them and read up on my goals, so I always know what I should be working on. I think it was wise of me to start with some planning. But now it's time to take action.
Till next time!
