It's 2/52
A short break
Well, it's been a hot minute. Specifically, 2 years and 4 months since I last updated this website. I think it's time to get back into it.
First let me start by making up some excuses. Most of my time, or more accurately, most of my willingness to work on side-projects, including this website has been used up by my full-time job. I can confidently say, that I am now indeed a software developer, who can do some things on the front-end in react and vue, and can make things happen on the back-end as well.
So I have improved, which was the point of this website originally. I guess this site has fulfilled the need in me to improve with regards to my professional life. Also, I've taken part in a longer D&D campaign, have started and stopped painting minifigures (I have completed exactly one figure), hiked a bunch of times, and ran and went to the gym a lot.
What's next then, for this site? To be honest I don't really know. I definitely want to improve my writing skills (I think it's easy to see why), and I also want to create a proper D&D campaign and ideally play it with friends. I already have a world map a few battle maps, NPCs, and pictures of places to capture the mood I'm going for. Story is also kindof there in my head, although I need to flesh it out a bit more before I can feel confident with it.
Other plans for me include running a marathon (I'm hitting 30 soon, so it's not really surprising), and doing the OKT in Hungary, ideally all in one go. Maybe I'll have some subsections for these various "initiatives" if you can call it that. Maybe tickets? JIRA? Confluence? Why not. I love overburdening myself with superfluous administration.
Also, professionally, there's 2 projects I'd like to finish, a smallish ERP software, and a simple wordpress website for a local theater group. I'll post the link when I'm done for sure.
So for all intents and purposes I'm gonna try and resurrect this page, as much as I can. I'll possibly add sections and other pages for these different personal projects, then we'll see what sticks.
Also, had to turn off Copilot for this, as it was trying to finish my sentences and it was quite annoying. This wasn't a problem last time I wrote here. How time flies.
Till next time!
